The following is a short list of successful renewable lubricant case studies involving the complete testing and usage of Stabilized High Oleic Base Stocks (HOBS) technologies.

2007.  NOAA Operates Three, 100 Percent Biobased Ships

For the last two years, three of GLERL's diesel ships run completely on biobased (rather than petroleum-based) products. Those made from soybean oil are ISO 32 & 68 Hydraulic Fluids, 90W Gear Oils, Lithium Greases, General Purpose Cleaners, Soy 2-Cycle Oils, Diesel Crank Case Oil and Biodiesel.
